Greece BankruptIs Greece Bankrupt? On the technical side, no. But for all intents and purposes, yes. Over the long term there is just no way it can continue spending and borrowing at the rate it current does. It faces a structural deficit where current income is just not enough to cover it's ballooning current expenditure. Their situation is akin to me borrowing money from the banks to buy bread and butter.

Just over a week ago the Greek government called in the IMF for some 'technical' advice. Then the ECB rattled markets saying it would not offer Greece a bailout package.
